Welcome to the website of Osel Thegchog Ling, a vibrant group of dharma practitioners in the San Francisco Bay Area under the direction of Adzom Rinpoche. Our main functions at this time are hosting a large retreat with Rinpoche once a year, and group practices year round. We are students of the Dzogchen Nyingthig tradition of the Nyingma lineage of Tibetan Buddhism.
Our main practices are the Longchen Nyingthig ngondro, phowa, and the deity practices and feasts of Green Tara, Guru Rinpoche and Zhitro. In 2009 we are continuing study and discussion of The Words of My Perfect Teacher by Patrul Rinpoche.
Please take a look at our calendar and join us for ngondro practice or one of our discussions.

NEW NGONDRO PRACTICE GROUP STARTING IN SAN FRANCISCO
|
| Hello to all you new friends whom we met this weekend at Anne Klein's Green Tara teachings. Based on how many of you expressed an interest in learning about Ngondro, the foundational practices that Anne spoke about, we are starting a new monthly Ngondro group in San Francisco--which of course is open to new and older students as well. This is a hands-on group in which we will learn about and practice Ngondro together. We will be practicing the short Ngondro that Ad_zom Rinpoche wrote especially for us in the West, and deepening and enriching our understanding of it by reading from the long Ngondro as well. If you don't have a text, you can order one from Dawn Mountain at info@dawnmountain.org. If you don't get one in time, we can share our copies with each other. If you have any questions or time concerns please call Dennis Rose at 415-272-9022 or e-mail him at practice_2@hotmail.com. We look forward to meeting and practicing together with everyone. |
